handcrafted item is Birdseye Maple. It is not known exactly how the eyes are formed. Some
theories are reaction to fungal or viral infection, genetic mutation, climate change, soil
conditions, growth history, or some other mysterious element. The pen is 24k gold plated
and comes with a premium ceramic tipped Schmidt black cartridge. The cap can be mounted
on the back or left off for writing. It measures 1/2” dia. x 5-1/2” long.
